About Me
Ever since I was little I enjoyed creating multimedia content ranging from home video productions (editing & cutting video, sound mixing, visual & acoustic special effects), photo manipulation & montages, printing on various media to advanced sound editing & mixing as a DJ when I was a teenager. My passion continued when I made the move onto the internet in 1998. I self-taught myself to design simple websites & flash animations. In High School (2000) I especially enjoyed computer studies & furthered my knowledge about desktop publishing & internet technologies. At Southern Cross University during my studies for the Bachelor of Multimedia (2006) I gained in-depth knowledge about design principles, multimedia creation theory, code validation and the use of a variety of software packages (Microsoft Office, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop etc.). Currently I spend my time working for my own recently founded business, do contracted web design work for other companies, occasionally teach Dreamweaver at Coffs Community College & educate myself reading literature about PHP, MySQL, jQuery & AJAX. I also enjoy spending time with my wife & little son.
I am highly motivated to work in this profession as creating websites is my big passion. Enjoying work as part of a team I find it fulfilling to give and receive creative input and to create unique multimedia content. The objective is producing an income while doing something that I love. I consider myself to be very organized and target oriented while keeping to deadlines. Striving to grow with the ever evolving internet I am interested in learning new things and to educate myself constantly.
